Nathan Light

         There's not really a lot to write about concerning my great accomplishments,
    huge wealth accumulated or all the famous people I associate with.  I do have a
    passion for fishing competitively and teaching others how to catch more fish.  The
    single most important thing you need to know about me is my faith in Jesus Christ.  

           Some of you may stop reading here and that will be o.k., others may be
    interested enough to read on.

           TIGHTLINING.com is a tribute to the many fantastic friends, family and anglers
    I know from all over the country.    

           My tournament buddy of over 28 years, Larry Fitzgerald, deserves a tremendous
    amount of credit for refining the TIGHTLINING technique as we know it now.

          Roger Stapleton, inventor of the UglyHead Jig, and I have remained friends
    since our high school days.  If he ever changes the original design of the UglyHead
    Jig, that could change!

           The bass fishing bug bit me at an early age.  Some of my fondest fishing
    memories were made while wading in the North Fork of the Holston River in East
    Tennessee.  Fishing and athletics have kept me busy and as I get  older, athletics
    are only memories!

           My wife of over 28 years, my son, daughter and (4) grand kids are the love of
    my life.

           After giving my heart and life to Jesus Christ on November 12th, 1989, my life
    has never been the same.  Serving Him in any way He chooses, is my desire.  

           Co-Hosting 3B Outdoors can only be explained as unbelievable.  Being able to
    work with an awesome group of dedicated sportsmen, is a dream come true.

           Coordinating Let's Go Fishin'! free community fishing seminars at Higher
    Ground Baptist Church, is a true labor of love.

           Hanging out on the water with many of the finest fishermen in the world and
    kids as well, provide a wealth of joy and satisfaction.  Being able to produce these
    adventures into a TV show, and now through this website, is only icing on the cake.

           Catch our show, pick up a DVD or watch shows streamed on the 3B Outdoors
    website, either way, we hope you enjoy them half as much as we do making them!  

           Tightlining.com is a natural extension of 3B Outdoors, teaching others what
    most gret anglers don't want you to know.  Now, grab your Kistler tightlining rod
    and whack a big smallie on an UglyHead jig...
